A picture book about roadworks, full of trucks and diggers. I chose this book for it’s nice illustrations. Little boys often love big work vehicles but many books depicting these have vert bland computerised images. This one is hand-drawn; it has charm and character.

The text is simple but it introduces the the name and usage of the different machines. My boys both found this book interesting. Another such charming book is: Building
