One of a series of ‘gamebooks’ where the reader needs to ‘choose their own adventure’. On every page there is a puzzle to solve. Once you have solved it you need to make a decision about how to proceed (which page to turn to). You need to make the right choices to get to the end of the book. This interactive book can be played several times.

Each of the books in the series has a different theme - as their titles suggest - yet the format is the same. I myself did not find the themes of the books particularly intriguing, but the books are well made and their concept and structure make their worthwhile. Children are intrigued to solve them. The themes of the books may interest boys a bit more.
