This gentle picture-story book  is about a small penguin living on the Antarctic shore. She looses her parents and travels through the snowy landscape, meeting other wildlife, whilst seeking her way home. This is a poetic book, with amazing illustrations that introduces readers to the animals of the Arctic, with emphasis on how they make their homes.

You can feel the cold just looking at the landscape! The book is full of the love and warmth of family life. It ends with the idea that it is being with your loved ones that makes your habitat a home.
