An informative introduction to how our bodies work. The text is clear and gives only the key information needed to understand the purpose and function of the various body parts, as well as how everything fits together and works together.

The concepts covered by the text are illustrated by wonderfully quirky drawings that do a great job of visually 'explaining' the concepts.

An interesting and well written book for younger readers who want to know more about human biology. A great reference book for a school library. Many new publications about the human body make a point of passing on an ideological position to the reader. Not so with this book. Just plain, well-chosen, key biological facts taught in a well-presented way.
